Over time the bottom of the hollow door rotted away.

Tenants didn't feel secure in their home. Project became a little more complicated when because the stoop/step outside was higher than the opening. Door is installed from the outside in. Owner was going to install new carpets so no need to use drop cloths. There was some repair to walls from previous desks attached to walls. Biggest challenge was the skylight. This required climbing in the attic, sifting through blown in insulation, 20" deep, removing the fan located "right next to the attic furnace". Lowering the fan through hole, to disconnect in a more comfortable location.
