Seniors are vital contributing members of our community who can make a difference in the lives of others by sharing their talents and experience. Where do volunteers work?Volunteers work in a variety of community settings such as schools, food distribution centers, libraries, law enforcement agencies, hospitals, and various non-profit organizations. There are 45 public and non-profit agencies from which a volunteers may choose an assignment in the RSVP service area of Sacramento, Placer and Yolo Counties. How can I apply?There is no fee for participating in RSVP. Orientation is provided by RSVP staff who will then help prospective volunteers find volunteer activities that interest them.

Volunteers that drive as part of their volunteer job are covered by supplemental automobile liability insurance.
