If you want a wonderful and popular view of Table Mountain then its worth driving to Bloubergstrand Beach. The mountain is behind the sea and to me is the one view that I wanted to capture. This is an ideal place for people watching - especially, on a windy day, the kite and board surfers. The beach is always clean. But most of all - it is the perfect place for that iconic photo of Table Mountain in all its moods. Spent a week on Blouberg Strand in Infinity apartments . Beach was absolutely beautiful. the kite surfers and paddle boarders were great to watch. The scenery was so beautiful with Table mountain and Robben Island in site every day. Cant wait to return We enjoyed a nice scenic drive to to this western point in Cape Town to explore the beach, wildlife, spectacular views, culture, plant life and quaintness. If you looking for a nice long beach walk , Milnerton light house to bloubergstrand is great. the sea bed has a steep dip so be careful if you going to swim especially on high tide. (Be careful - no life guards) water temp is cold if you brave enough to swim head down Milnerton side. Take a walk along the promenade with your dog or loved ones. Let the kids loose to build a sand castle. Get wet: Surf, SUP or kayak. Probably the best kite surfing beach in the Cape.
