Obituary of Roger Priest Roger Lee Priest, 72, of Reston, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 9:45AM.Born on March 13, 1944, in Houston, Texas, he was the son of Roger A. Priest and Pauline Jones.Roger Priest, known as “Cotton” to his basketball buddies from high school, was a man who loved life and sought to derive the most from every moment of it. Whether he was playing basketball, working on cars, fixing up a client’s home, enjoying a glass of red wine or a fine meal, he relished each and engaged in all activities with equal pleasure.Having a bachelor’s degree in Journalism never stopped him from his love of working with his hands or of being of aid and service to others. A self-taught handyman who loved kitchen and bathroom remodeling most of all, Roger could always be counted on to lend a helping hand, usually with quick wit and humor. His business morphed into one of personal service in recent years, most notably caring for a woman with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who predeceased him in July.He is survived by his two children, Vanessa Lee Priest and Ethan Allen Priest;
