Burnett has appealed to the Crown Court against his conviction and he is on bail pending the outcome of the appeal.

The case was due to be heard this week, but has been adjourned for both prosecution and defence to seek more evidence.Burnett claims he had a week long relationship with the woman householder and left the camera at her house, but not in the bathroom. He denies hiding the camera or having any sexual motivation or intention to use it to spy on anyone.Rachel Drake, defending, told the court that inquiries are still being made into phone contact between Burnett and the woman which may support his version of events.Emily Cook, prosecuting, said further investigations are also being carried out to establish whether Burnett had used an app on his iPad to control the camera remotely.Recorder Mr Don Tait adjourned the case until March 10 at Exeter Crown Court after agreeing that the further inquiries are essential for both sides.
