Find out more about the Community Furniture service.Our care and repair service Bolton Care and Repair is a service helping people who are older or disabled to repair, improve or adapt their home. It is a partnership between us, Bolton Council, Age Concern, and Bolton NHS. The service is available to people aged over 60 or in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance. Our handy person can carry out small repairs and improvements for you. There is a charge of £15 per hour for a maximum of three hours per visit (two hours for plumbing, gas or electric work) plus any costs for the materials. For larger jobs we have a list of contractors which you may wish to use. Damp proof course and timber specialists You can contact us for an up to date list of contractors.
