Start your review of Handyman Club of America “Handyman Club of America Life Member” My name is Jose A. Lugo My lifetime membership no. is 30305620 I joined back in April of 2003. My lifetime membership was paid in full in good faith. I lived back in Tampa, FL. I now live at 289 Magical Way Kissimmee, FL. 34744 my telephone no. is (407)923-0923 are you going to honor my life time membership which I paid in full in good faith ? “Move over and pass the Preperation-H. Saw the train wreck coming!” Someone asked, why doesn't the Attorney General get involved? My suspicions is that there's so much fraud going on that they just turn a blind eye and grab their paycheck. I was burned by a TV 'Learn my technique and start to earn $$ at home.

Well, I was injured T work and thought well I still have bills... I came to my senses and that was the end of the line. The problem is they can continue to solicit on tv but we as consumers have no voice to warn others of the trap awaiting them. I did like the books, I'd like to shove the books up their collective asses.

I moved over two years ago and just dawned on me that I forgot to contact you regarding magazines and promo information to my new address. “paid over 300 dollars for a lifetime membership” Now i no longer receive my magazines and they do not reply to correspondence Feel totally ripped off long time ago I tried Handy club of america, but I did subscribed to lifetime member but lucky me I never paid them a nickle, I,m the kind of person that if you want my money, you need to show me that you're worth it, they never send good merchandise (tools) so for me it wasn't worth it, lucky i got out of it on time.... Should have known that when I became a lifetime member of this shoddy organization on October 10, 1998, and received my leather jacket with the club's logo, hand stitched on the left chest, and in red capital letters below, affirmly vowing me a "LIFETIME MEMBER", was to good to be true. The certificate, in which I made the frame for, and proudly displayed in my shop, needless to say, is no longer hanging.

Shame on you deceitful people for pulling a midnight escape with no explanation for your loyal members! You should all be castrated via a dull, rusty saw blade ! I joined Handyman club about 15 yes ago [ life time member ]and have regretted it since ,about 2yrs ago they totally stopped sending me issues of the magazine [ no phone number to complain] I went through h-llaura and still to this day have not received all the goodies Thay promise you will receive as a member everything about them that I have experienced has been a bunch of Bull S--t I am thinking about legal counsel at this time also going to contact the Better Business Bureau plus others agency's to stop and keep them from ripping off others. Part of what is wrong in this country is the lies and theft of companies like HANDYMAN.THE RATING I GAVE AS A ( 1 ) WAS TO HIGH. BUT I DID ENJOY THE MAGAZINE JUST ASHAMED THEY BURN PEOPLE THE WAY THEY DO, DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY BY SUBSCRIBING. Evidently my lifetime is longer than their lifetime.

Since I told "the club" to quit sending me tools to purchase that I had not ordered and, if I didn't want them, I could return them, I have not heard from them. I never received a "free" tool to review. I thought something was missing from my mail and didn't realize what it was until I started reading everyone else's complaints. If I could just get my outrageous "lifetime" dues payment back, I would forget them. Short of that, I would like ALL of my past missed issues of the magazine and start receiving it on a regular timely basis. “clarence salter#3054926 4 # dy no batteries” i am a lifetime member cant get battiers for my drill that i brought when i joined toughtest 18volt and why havent i gotten a magazine in over a year look people i just want to find a battiers or one compadable, tell me what kind I like many others have signed up for Handy man club of America as a lifetime member and have yet to receive any tools to review and have not received a magazine for over two years.

I believe that the company should be investigated for mail fraud. How can I get hold of the company? I have been a member for a long time. No magazine in over a year no benefits no nothing worst club ever and the tools they tried to pawn off on use pure junk “Bogus promised life time benefits” What happened to "FREE" monthly magazine promised with life time subscription#30575335? No active ph# to call & bogus address on back of card! I have been a life member for years I have not received a magazine since 2014 NO MORE BENEIFITS. “Handyman must be out of business” I have been a lifetime member for many years but it's been a long time since I've received the magazine. They should have sent notice if the went out of business. “bend over and smile” Clearest case of "Bait and Switch" in history. 0 stars is not an option “Where is my life time benefits” I see I'm not the only one who hasn't been getting the magazines. I too am a lifer and it's been I swear over a year since I received one.

“Ripping off lifetime members!” My husband subscribed to a lifetime member of handyman club of America. They have an inoperable phone number which I tried calling. We no longer receive the Handy magazine from them as do so many others reviewers that we have found searching the Internet. Apparently Scout will not honor lifetime member benefits. I am also a lifetime Handyman club member, when I became "lifetime", they sent me a beautiful router with Forstner bits and other bits, a nice set of chisels, a tool bag to put them in and miscellaneous smalls (patch, key chain hat carpenters pencil etc.) not too bad in my opinion! The few tools I tested were nothing to get exited about but...? I haven't been receiving the magazine for awhile but that may be (probably is) my own fault, my address changed and I keep forgetting too let them know?! I have been a lifetime member of Handyman almost since its inception. I have tested three tools in the past 15+ years. Two of them were not worth what it cost in postage to send them the third was a pretty good 1" wood chisel that is still in my chisel pouch.

I haven't received a magazine from them in quite some time and cannot seem to find a web site to go to and question why. After reading a few of these reviews I think I can now understand why I am a life member and I would like to know what benefits do I have as a life member? do I have access to free wood working plans and what about test products?? What is with the test products? not that I got anything to brag about but do we still get the chance to test out these products? “What happened to Handyman Club of America” I am a lifetime member. No magazines, no response, no communication from Handyman or Scout. When I inquired about it, no useful responses. When I ask about a refund, no response at all. Just goes to show we got ripped off, without any advance notice. The people paid good money for this membership to get nothing in return. member # 30373199 Life membership . Where are my handyman magazines .It has been quite a while since I have received one .My question is why hasn't the attorney general of the U.S.A .gone after handyman club for Deceptive practice .

When Handyman said Life time ,did they mean theirs ? “How long is a lifetime?” If I had 2 of these I would do a # 2 in one And cover it up with the other... What a load of crap Handyman Club of America... PS: Anyone interested in buying a no good worthless hat? “Class Action against Scout Magazine owner of Handyman of America” I'm all for a class action suit against Scout Magazine, the now current owner of the in name only "Handyman of America". As stated in previous reviews, since the take over of the club, services have been replaced with junk services which I'm not interested in at all. No magazine, no products to test, just a lot of junk services that most handymen will not want unless you are a sports person as well. I think everyone who has a lifetime membership should join the class action and ask for their lifetime fee back. How do we start this process rolling. Some one who had ownership in Handyman Club of America sold out the members and made a good buck to boot.
