The wine flowed, jokes and laughter were easy, and rival firms were subject to good-natured jabs at each other -- at the annual awards ceremony for NAIOP Central Florida.“Of course when the market is good, we all like to say it's because of our great vision,” joked emcee Bill Moss, senior managing director at CBRE in Orlando.
Moss laced his remarks with snark, remarking that a few men from his own firm weren’t wearing ties, and complimenting well-dressed people from Jones Lang LaSalle.Lake Nona’s Tavistock Development firm swept the big awards of the evening, winning for Office Developer, Mixed Use Developer, Special Use (along with Weiland Corp.) and -- for the second year -- Developer of the Year. The only other development company recognized was McCraney Property Company for industrial park buildings, Bent Oak 1 and 2.According to NAIOP Central Florida, Tavistock is  “responsible for taking 7,000 acres of vacant land and creating residential, retail and office developments, and more notably, a $2 billion high-tech cluster of medical, educational and research institutions.  And they continue to have a pipeline of new projects underway."Another big winner was CBRE’s own Robby McEwan, who handled several big deals in 2015, including the sale of 474 acres near Universal Boulevard to a subsidiary of Universal Parks and Resorts for $130 million.

Kennel Sales was established in 1985, since then we have travelled all over the UK to see boarding kennels and cattery businesses, all with varying sizes of business and residences, and all with potential for expansion. The prices have ranged considerably, depending on both size and location, although very few now remain under £250,000, and numerous large facilities will have a price tag well in excess of £1,000,000. Mortgages to help with the purchasing of these businesses are available, subject to the security offered and the payback capability of the business, and we can help with specialist advisers who have been specifically dealing with boarding kennel & cattery businesses for over 30 years. You will see from our address (Ladybird Boarding Kennels & Cattery) that in addition to offering boarding kennels and catteries for sale, we own one too.
