This combination has manifested itself in portfolio management for commercial real estate investors, and as a Group Investment, analyzer, organizer and manager producing double digit returns. I have been a resident of Lawton since 1967. For thirty five of those years I was a stock broker and financial advisor with A. G. Edwards (NYSE). Working with individuals to help them attain their personal and financial goals has been a life work for me. Commercial real estate was often an investment that enabled my clients to reach those goals. I have spent many years working in real estate investment trusts, limited partnerships, and real estate syndicates. I have also found time to log over 1500 hours in hot air balloons. I was a charter member of the Lawton Evening Optimist Club which started wrestling and soccer in Lawton. In addition I served seven years on the board of the Lawton Family YMCA during the time we raised over $1,000,000 to expand the facility. I also served nine years on the Lawton Planning Commission (LAMPC) and the Board of Adjustments developing land-use plans, approving zoning changes and new subdivisions.
